Honouring Our Ingredients
In the UK, approximately 9.5 million tonnes of edible food are wasted each year, with households accounting for the majority of this waste. At Limoncello Catering, we believe that great food is about more than taste – it’s about care, creativity, and respect for our ingredients. Recently, we’ve been exploring new ways to honour every part of the produce we use.
Sustainability at Limoncello is not an add-on; it is woven into the very fabric of what we do. From sourcing locally, to innovating in the kitchen, to reimagining how every scrap can shine, we are continually seeking ways to create food that delights your senses and honours our planet.
Limoncello Dishes
Take bell peppers, for example. Rather than discarding the cores, we now freeze, dry, and blitz them to create a vibrant seasoning, which elevates our signature chicken dishes with a depth of flavour that’s as sustainable as it is delicious. It’s a small step, but one that reflects a bigger commitment: reducing waste, championing resourcefulness, and celebrating the natural bounty of every ingredient.
