From the very beginning, Limoncello has been driven by a deep commitment to support the local community, from staff employment to fresh ingredients. Now, that commitment extends to a new priority: sustainability.

Our dedicated team is focused on delivering exceptional catering while minimising our environmental impact. We ensure transparency by having staff readily available to promptly address any inquiries. By partnering with the best local suppliers (see our list of quality suppliers here) crafting seasonal menus, and striving to reduce waste, we ensure that sustainability and quality go hand in hand here in Limoncello. Further, our packages are designed with full transparency, offering clear per-person pricing with no hidden fees in our quotes or menus.

We are proud to have been one of Vegware’s first customers, a UK-founded company using sustainably sourced paper and cardboard, compostable bioplastic made from plant sugars, water-based inks, clear film derived from wood pulp, etc., to minimise corporate carbon footprints. We adopted biodegradable packaging well in advance of legal requirements in the UK, to provide peace of mind for our customers by leading the way in environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Now, Donovan’s – ‘a family legacy built on quality and sustainability’ are our supplier for high-quality, sustainable alternatives that maintain functionality without compromising on style.

Additionally, we also use FooGo Green, whose products are made from naturally shed areca palm leaves, collected from the forest floor. These are cleaned, moulded, and pressed using a hot compress to create durable, reusable, and compostable tableware. Their products meet strict health, safety, and biodegradability standards for global export. They also partner with green initiatives worldwide to offset their carbon footprint, as well as investing in improved cooking resources in India to reduce air pollution and improve the quality of life for women. We believe their vision aligns with ours and are eager to incorporate their products moving forward.

In Our Kitchen

We create our own herb blends, along with sauces and chutneys, ensuring that no ingredients are wasted. This also means we avoid ordering pre-packaged items like jars and containers typically used for sauce deliveries.

By default, we deliver all our orders in recyclable and biodegradable packaging to reduce our carbon footprint. In doing so, this negates the need for post-event collection, reducing the time our drivers spend on the road, further reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
